IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING. Hexagonal Awareness Month is almost upon is. Indeed, IT IS ALREADY HEXAGONAL AWARENESS MONTH in the Far East. HAPPY HEXAGONAL AWARENESS MONTH, PACIFIC RIM!
For the rest of us, I think these last remaining hours would be a good opportunity to withdraw into silent contemplation of the nature of hexagonal awareness in our lives. There will be plenty of time to think about hexagons per se during Hexagonal Awareness Month. Now might be, I think, a good time to consider what it means to think about hexagons, and to explore how we relate to our own awareness of hexagons, and how our awareness of our awareness of hexagons informs other aspects of our lives. Indeed, the focus of Hexagonal Awareness Month ought not be limited to hexagons per se, but should rightly extend to considering how the light of hexagonal awareness affects all aspects of our lives—how the shadows it casts articulate the contrast between what is hexagonal and what is not hexagonal. Is there even such a thing as "not hexagonal," or is there only the relative absence of hexagonality? Could even the absence of hexagonality perhaps be an illusion on some level? These are important questions that, through careful contemplation and meditation, we may each begin to find our own answers to in the coming days and weeks.
